Mountain Dome , This multi-vintage Brut is a blend of eight separate base wines from two vintages that were fermented in small French oak barrels and aged in the bottle for 4 years before disgorging. This gives the wine a complex bouquet and rich taste. The gnomes on the label reflects the winery owner's belief that everyone needs a sparkle in their lives. Mountain Dome is truly a family owned and operated winery. They opened their winery in September of 1984, having built the geodesic dome and 8,500 square foot winery themselves. It is located on an 85 acre forest in the foothills of Mount Spokane. The current consultant is Raphael Brisbois, who has been the wine maker for the sparkling wines at Iron Horse and most recently at Piper Sonoma. ...
